FLORIADE
NL
The Floriade World Horticultural Exhibition has been held in a Dutch location once every 10 years since 1960. The Floriade is the successor of the Flora exhibitions. Since 1960, the Bureau International des Expositions (BIE) has recognized the horticultural exhibition as a category within the world exhibitions. Since then, the exhibitions that meet the A1 category of the International Association of Horticultural Producers (AIPH) are recognized as world horticultural exhibitions by the BIE. Floriade is the name used for the horticultural exhibitions held in the Netherlands that comply with the A1 category of the BIE and are therefore allowed to call themselves world horticultural exhibitions.
