BOZAR – A GOOD CITY HAS INDUSTRY

The visitors guide has been developed by Atelier Brussels for International Architecture Biennale Rotterdam IABR-2016-The Next Economy. The guide representing the participation of the Brussels and Flanders has been followed by an exhibition named A Good City Has Good Industry. The authors emphasized the current state of European cities which become places for only consumption as production has been pushed out of the cities. However today, in and around the city of Brussels industrial activities, low skilled job opportunities and circular businesses started to recover the lost industrial identity. This guide prepared by architects, policymakers, experts, developers and entrepreneurs, represents 10 clues for building a productive city and references current projects working towards it.
